Westporch 2025

In The Beginning

In July 2020, at a time when the world felt uncertain and disconnected, John Pringle and Trevor Connel came together with an idea—to bring a sense of hope, joy, and connection back to their community. That idea became Westporch, a neighbourhood porch festival created to turn a dark and difficult time into something uplifting. What started as a simple celebration of local music, creativity, and community quickly took on a life of its own.

From its humble beginnings, Westporch has grown into a beloved annual tradition in Westport, Ontario, drawing neighbours, artists, musicians, and visitors together for a day filled with laughter, music, and shared moments. Porches become stages, streets come alive with energy, and the spirit of Westport shines brighter than ever.

Now, in 2025, we’re thrilled to be celebrating the 5th anniversary of this incredible festival. It’s a milestone that reminds us of how far we've come—and how strong and vibrant our community continues to be. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or are joining for the first time, we invite you to come be a part of it.

Save the date—September 20, 2025. Bring your friends, your family, your lawn chairs, and your porch spirit. We’ll see you on the porch!
